You don't need answers; You need better questions

The I Statement

You don't need answers; You need better questions

By: Molly Irizarry

Many people are under the impression that Astrology can give answers to specific situations, telling people exactly what to do with their troubles.

And while Astrology does have its components of divination, I honestly think that is the least use you can get out of it.

Even now as an Astrologer, my goal is to help people grow and learn about their own power, not tell them what decision to make.

A good Astrologer is going to help you create better questions to explore yourself, like "How can I best accept that part of myself?" or "What strategies can I try that work best with me in XYZ area of life?"

Instead, common questions are more like "Will I get married to Tim?" or "Should I take XYZ job?"

We can definitely already see the quality difference in these questions.

One question is focused on outcome.

The other question is focused on growth.

Years ago, I used to regularly see a Tarot Reader who was AMAZING.

She was on the head with so many of my life's issues.

She'd describe them with details I didn't even give, and often describe a lot of what I was experiencing.

The thing she didn't give were orders.

She never gave me answers that told me exactly what to do.

She'd avoid direct "yes or no" answers because the oracle (spirit, the universe, whatever you want to call it, etc.), doesn't work on strict yes or no's.

I learned back then that if there were a right answer or a wrong answer to things, free will wouldn't exist.

We wouldn't been born without the option to choose.

I realized after going to that Tarot Reader that I was so focused on getting a "yes" or "no" to my questions, that I didn't realize the problem was the questions I asked.

My questions were so direct, so punitive, so SMALL- minded and kept me focused on the wrong things, like "is XYZ coming back into my life?" *barf*

When I began to ask myself better questions, THAT is the moment my life changed.

A question is what sparked my entire life to change back in 2018 when I pivoted from "Does XYZ think of me?" to "Why am I who I am?"

Our growth happens after creating friction with a particularly spicy 💃question.

Questions are in fact SO valuable, I crafted a brand new newsletter, Rise & Grind (it'll come to your inbox tomorrow), based solely on the experience of asking yourself reflective questions.

You do NOT need the answers you think you need, you just have to get curious and ask yourself better questions.

I am a firm believer in the question process.

Better questions stem from curiosity.

(Genuinely being curious as to the inner workings and motivations of YOU.)

Curiosity about yourself = Questions about yourself = Getting familiar with how YOU function and your why's.

It means going through life and instead of immediately jumping to a judgement about yourself, you instead get curious about yourself.

My spiritual teacher/coach/guide can attest to my own journey in learning this valuable lesson- It is a work in progress.

One big tip I can provide is developing a mantra.

Mine is "How can I see this differently?" and has been since 2018.

With every experience in life when I would normally jump to judgement or assumption, the first thing I do now is ask myself "How can I see this differently?"

It breaks the conditioning of your mind - Try it out!

I hope this helps you-- Please reach out and email me back for any comments or feedback!

The I Statement Pluto enters Aquarius - Where will it affect you? By: Molly Irizarry Wrong Pluto in front of the right Pluto. Pluto in Aquarius (as of November 17) is a big freaking deal in the Astrological world, but in reality, it is a big deal for humanity. Have you heard of the term "Age of Aquarius?" This is what it means. Pluto is moving into Aquarius after spending the last 20-something years in Capricorn. And guess what? It is going to move through Aquarius over the next 20-something...

The I Statement Choose a partner you'd want to be more like By: Molly Irizarry "If people picked their spouses thinking 'who do I want to become like?', they would pick very different spouses." HOLY SHISHKABOBS! This was a quote I heard during an interview with entrepreneur Leila Hormozi and her husband Alex Hormozi. I know I have a spiritual-based women's practice, but the choice we women make in partners can either help or hinder our paths in life. How many people choose partners they would...

The I Statement Changing your Beliefs is Life-Threatening By: Molly Irizarry If you have limiting beliefs, you have likely built your life based on them. Ever wonder why changing limiting beliefs is so hard? It is because you literally fashioned your entire life based on them!!!! So imagine trying to change them now -- It means everything in your life connected to those beliefs has to change. So let's make an example: Let's say Sue has a fundamental belief that she is not able to make more...
